LT·GOV: who holds power in Lithuania
Screens
1 / 4
A bilingual interactive map that teaches who exercises state power in Lithuania and where that authority comes from. It links constitutional provisions to offices, elections and guided classroom stories.
Made for students: three short guided stories, each ending with one question. Free to share and to embed in lessons. Sources are official Lithuanian state sites only. English and Lithuanian, no sign-up.
How it works
The map puts the people at the centre, with the legislative, executive and judicial branches and the other constitutional bodies around them. Select an office to see who elects or appoints it, whom it nominates and whom it supervises, with the matching articles of the Constitution.
Switch to the Seimas view or turn on the European Parliament layer. Search finds any office. The share and embed options put the map into a lesson page. The data sits in separate files and passes automated checks before each update.
